Check out these conceptual park designs that we created with Stormwater Solutions Engineering for the City of Oconomowoc! The City was looking for firms to provide ideas for a new park, Rockwell Park, located at the dam between Fowler Lake and Lac La Belle. Our designs were based on the layered history of the park and integrating the park into a system of public spaces along an existing walking trail. The site has a unique history-John Rockwell built the dam for a mill in 1837, which evolved into a tourist destination during the resort era of Oconomowoc, and then became the site of a former Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house.
